Milan, Italy based photo agency Mondadori Portfolio ( the photo agency of one of Europe’s top publishers the Mondadori Group) have launched a new website this week.
The completely renovated site allows a faster and deeper search through the agency’s millions of contempory and archival image collections. While maintaining an important focus on the art world, the new site allows the agency to cover themes like fashion, entertainment and sport.
They told PAN: ‘From the beginning, Mondadori Portfolio has been a cultural reference point in the narrative and documentation of “Italian style”, through the Mondadori historical archive and the Electa archive composed of thousands of photographs of the most important pictorial, architectural and sculptural works from Italy and Europe, from the classical age to today.’
‘Over time, thanks to the continued acquisition of Italian and international collections of primary importance – like the recent granting, in worldwide exclusive, of the management of the reproduction rights for all the works of art conserved at the Veneranda Biblioteca Ambrosiana in Milan – Mondadori Portfolio has begun a growth agenda that allows the presentation of an ever more ample and varied offering.’
The site also features their photo and video production services.
