Photo researchers visiting stock footage agency Historic Films Archive will find a brand new website just launched by the agency.
Historic Films told PAN: ‘The new site offers a more user-friendly research interface and increased speed and responsiveness to get researchers what they need when they need it. All of the great features that clients have come to rely on from Historic Films are still there, with a variety of new features added. Some of these new features include the ability to export research data structured for use in project spreadsheets, search results that use language understanding to correct misspellings and keyword autocomplete giving users a list of similar result possibilities with their search. In addition, “More Like This” features to help expand results and streamlined filtering to help users better tailor their research results. Managed and developed by Historic Films’ Anthea Carr and Adam Putter and his team at Bad Math in Toronto, the design and usability input was considered from both our internal research staff and longtime clients.
We hope the entire stock footage research community will find the new site streamlined, technically more efficient and visually more appealing.’
We agree! …so get viewing searching and Licensing on Historic Films here.
