Online conference explores the cultural contribution of women refugee photographers who came to Britain after 1933

Taking place between 11 – 13 September, Four Corners will be holding a free conference exploring the cultural contribution of women refugee photographers who came to Britain after 1933. Presentations will cover photographers’ work across portraiture, reportage, social documentary and architectural photography, and how the European cultural approaches that they brought with them informed British visual culture.
