The UK Picture Editors Guild Awards in Association with Shutterstock
The UK picture Editors Guild is pleased to announce that the awards are open to entries and continue to accept entries until November 30 2019.
UK picture Editors’ Guild Awards are the UK and the Republic of Ireland’s most prestigious awards for press photography and photojournalism.
Global technology company Shutterstock is the headline sponsor for this year’s UK Picture Editors Guild Awards. ‘The Guild is delighted that the leading provider of commercial imagery and music Shutterstock has agreed to partner us again. This successful partnership is now in its fifth year.’
The Awards are joined this year by entertainment and technology company Sony, who will be sponsoring the National Newspaper Photographer of the Year category.
Due to the success of the Guild awards and the volume of entries the Guilds committee decided that the site had to be more stable and responsive to entries so the Guild has had a top competition site builder rebuild the site so entry to the competition flows easier for entrants.
