PAN constantly keeps an eye on the press for interesting photo features – we spotted this great set on the Guardian website ‘Happy Farmily‘ sourced and licensed by photo agency Cover Images.
PAN reader, Editorial Editor Dean Murray at Cover, told PAN when we contacted him Saturday morning:
“We really love working with passionate photographers who create their own quirky way of documenting the world. And, even better, we love being able to report back to them that we have landed high-quality exposure for their work.
Tasha Hall creates what she calls ‘Farmily’ portraits – featuring families and their menagerie of animals. As with any great body of work, these images unsurprisingly jumped out at me when I noticed them on a photography website. I couldn’t contact Tasha quick enough!
Tasha, from British Columbia, says she got the idea after wanting to include all her own furry friends in her a family portrait. She now travels the world capturing other families and their collections of livestock and beloved pets.”
Very nice uplifting story that we so need more of in our daily newspapers and general news Thanks for featuring this. D.
