Here’s an interesting development in the stock photo AI arena – Germany based photo library PantherMedia has partnered with US based synthetic media tech company vAIsual to become the first stock agency worldwide to license AI generated images through the Smarterpix platform.
PantherMedia say:
• All images are generated with vAIsual’s innovative and advanced algorithms.
• Rapidly growing, unique portrait collection with the aim of addressing even more topics
• AI generated images require no model releases and have no restrictions related to the presence of actual human models
vAIsual say: ‘Since each picture is generated with a green screen, users can easily merge these synthetic elements with real-life photography backgrounds to create truly unique content.’ VAIsual AI-generated portraits now available on Smarterpix is the next generation of frictionless content. It requires no model release and can be used in any context. Users no longer need to double-check the term of usage or fear expensive litigation.
