Thanks to John Selby who sent this wonderful set of photos to the PAN HQ today featuring Frank Selby, co-founder of picture agency Rex Features, celebrating his 100th birthday last Friday -12th January. Frank started the agency with his wife Elizabeth in 1954. He celebrated this milestone birthday with a family party near to Frank’s and Elizabeth’s home in north London, attended by over 100 close friends and relatives from around the world.
This in from Alan Smith of photo library Topfoto:
“Well done Frank. When he was born the first world war was being wrapped up and when I last saw him he was staggering upstairs arm in arm with a filing cabinet at Rex! What a man and behind every good man is a good woman, Elizabeth.”
Alan.
