They say: ‘Charles Prince of Wales had a keen interest in Polo from an early age always watching his father The Duke of Edinburgh play at Windsor. The Prince played his first game in 1963 aged 15, in a team captained by The Duke of Edinburgh and he played his first game in public in April 1964. From then on the Prince played as regularly as he could manage, playing his first season of first class games in 1967. Captured in these photos by the talented Kai Sthut the Prince is seen competing in one of his final matches before retiring from the sport.’
