Fleet Street photographer Ron Westrip has been in touch with PAN this week celebrating publishing his autobiography of his life in photography and advertising starting in the 1960’s at Fox Photos.

PAN asked Ron about his photo agencies days and if he had any images from that time he could share for our Press Photo History project, he told us: “I really enjoyed my time at Fox and so clearly recall the names and faces of the whole team at that time. Shortly after my time four senior members broke away and started their own company …Focus Four… Who I believe took over Fox sometime later.
But I believe only one of them survived through to the 90’s (George Freston) . I have searched everywhere for old pictures but much of my old pictures were lost at the time of my divorce in the late 80’s.”
