Bruce Miles has contacted me by phone telling me he worked in the photo department of the Times Newspaper at the age of 15 from 1951 to 1954. Bruce wanted to offer his memories of his time at the great newspaper and was interested to see if I could locate any images of the Times photo department and photographers.
I emailed Chris Whalley – head of the Times photo archive – and he sent over a couple of images immediately!
