Bridgeman Images have a new collection of looping animations from Richard Balzer. The animated 19th century phenakistoscopes, thaumatropes and zoetropes, are available as gifs and video files exclusively from Bridgeman Footage. Richard Balzer, a devoted collector of early motion picture imagery and ephemera, started his collection more than 30 years ago after he bought his first magic lantern during a trip to England.
