The granddaughter of Herbert ‘Bert’ Andrews, a photographer at London-based photo agency Planet News, is trying to learn more about his life.
Bert joined Planet News when it opened in 1927; he was born on 31 October 1906 and died 3 November 1963. He was married to Sarah Harriet Elizabeth Elsdon.
Before Planet, he worked at Photopress then moved to Pacific and Atlantic.
