Great news here for news and entertainment photographers contributing to photo agency Splash – it looks like you will be getting paid inside fifteen days. PAN has just been sent the details which went to contributors by email today.
Splash say in an email to contributors today:
We are thrilled to announce that effective July 15th we will move to PayPal payments for royalties which will allow us to pay you faster, more consistently and more frequently. What does this look like?
• You get paid faster! – Our payout terms will now be 15 days, after end of month, the fastest in the industry!
• You get paid consistently! – All payments will be paid on or before the 15th of each month.
• You get paid more frequently! – We will be reducing our payout threshold to 25 USD, 25 GBP and 25 EUR.We hope that this new and improved royalty payout method shows our commitment to our contributors and continues to build off the strong relationships we have today. We want to remove the barriers between you and producing incredible editorial content.
