Stock Photo Call: UK National Tourism agencies – ongoing worldwide marketing
The National Tourism agencies who are responsible for the promotion of England domestically to the British and Britain to the rest of the world is on the search for striking images and film covering all aspects of Britain to licence for their ongoing marketing activities worldwide. The search is ongoing and there is no deadline. Selections are submitted on a weekly basis for approval and VisitBritain is inviting photographers, libraries and agencies to send light boxes or medium resolution files in the first instance. Themes may include food (from farm to fork), shopping (from markets to luxury), accommodation (from a tent on a mountain, cabins in woods to boutique or quirky), icons (old and new), culture (museums/exhibits), music and events (local to national –classical, DJ’s to rock) , countryside (gentle rolling hills and waterfalls to epic scenery including landscapes, activities, pastimes and crafts), heritage (castles and gardens from serene and calm to people filled events and light shows.) Imagery may be humorous, architectural, emotive and so on. The idea is to challenge perceptions and as such prove to the world what a diverse and inspirational place we are.
