Online photo sharing/stock photo site Snapixel will close on August 31st – a report posted on the home page reads: ‘We will be shutting down the Snapixel service on August 31st, 2012. Please be sure to back up your photos as we will be no longer offer the portfolio or marketplace services after August 31st, 2012. We want to thank all of the amazing photographers and Snapixel members who found the site useful and wish you all the best.’
