Viewing on American History cable channel – Jan 1 2014 10 am & 6 pm ET – ‘War Reporting and Photography’ a panel of journalists and photographers recount their experiences of covering war from the frontlines in Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan. They describe the physical toll of keeping up with soldiers and the danger of being in combat. The journalists also discuss the power of images and the role of photography in informing the public about wars from Vietnam to the present.
