The images are a final edit from contributing photographer Justin Foulkes’ trip to New Zealand’s North Island took him around the Firth of Thames from Auckland to the Coromandel Peninsula, taking in Hahei Beach and Cathedral Cove with views of the deep blue South Pacific and the lush protected wilderness of Coromandel Forest Park. A short boat ride from Auckland carries visitors to Waiheke Island, home to spectacularly situated vineyards, welcoming wineries and skyline views worth writing home about!
