Confirmation in from FOCAL International who have announced Kay Page will be joining them as their new Managing Director.

I’m committed to ensuring FOCAL International remains a leading voice for the archival sector, working with members, partners and stakeholders to advance our shared objectives.”
UPDATED: 7 Jan 2026: FOCAL have announced Louise is no longer able to take on the role of Managing Director due to personal reason.
A further announcement will be made shortly regarding who will be taking on the new role.
First published 1 December 2025: Stock footage association FOCAL International has announced Louise Pankhurst as their new Managing Director – starting Feb 2026.

Louise says: “I am a technically trained film archivist with 20 years of experience in the film archiving sector. My career has spanned both private and public archives, giving me a broad perspective on preservation, access, and industry needs. I also bring extensive experience in event management and outreach, as well as a strong track record of collaborating with archive researchers and producers to help bring their projects to fruition.
I am very much looking forward to working with the entire FOCAL community and forging ahead with new initiatives.”
