UK based history image giant Topfoto are uploading thousands of images from the Chicago History Museum for licensing. This new representation allows Topfoto customers access to the images from today.
Archive highlights include:
• Chicago daily life and headline events are compelling in the richness of imagery. Race riots, strikes, the architecture, the stockyards, transport, society and subversiveness.
• Sporting legends such as Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, Chicago Union Giants, and visiting superstars such as Babe Ruth.
• Industries, fashions, protests, riots and personalities that have shaped Chicago and indeed the USA.
