Industry People: Dawn Airey wins at 2018 Diva Awards

The Barclays DIVA Awards, hosted this year by actress Rachel Shelley at a glittering ceremony at the Hilton Waldorf on June 8, honour those who pay tribute and help to make a difference to the lesbian, trans and bi-sexual community. Getty Images’ CEO Dawn Airey won the PWC Business Leader of the Year 2018 category.

The Bake Off star Sandi Toksvig scooped the Broadcaster of the Year award at the glittering ceremony at Hilton Waldorf, for her commitment to making a difference to the lesbian, trans and bisexual community. She was joined by Labour’s Dawn Butler MP who was awarded Ally of the Year, British boxer Nicola Adams who won Sports Personality of the Year and actress and campaigner Sophie Ward who scooped Inspirational Role Model of the Year.
