In Frankfurt dpa subsidiary picture alliance has restructured their sales department creating an additional sales team responsible for New Business. Gisela Schmidt and Claudia Kalenderian will share leadership of the New Business team.
Claudia Calendarian who graduated as a sports economist has worked for picture alliance since 2009 where she rose to role as product manager before switching to sales where she looked after customers from the Sports & Corporate Client area.
Gisela Schmidt joined the dpa subsidiary in 2016 after studying literature. After various positions in the company looking after new customers she moved to Sales Manager responsible for specialist publishers, museums and associations.
Matthias Gatzemeier, Head of Sales at picture alliance told PAN: “Through the targeted support of our new customers by our New Business team, we can adapt even better to customer needs, which are constantly changing, and offer our customers the best possible service and customer-oriented new solutions. With Claudia Kalenderian and Gisela Schmidt, we were able to gain two experienced and successful sales professionals to jointly manage the newly created New Business team.
