• Archive notes: TV-AM was Britain’s first independent breakfast television station, airing Good Morning Britain daily from 1st February 1983 to 31st December 1992. The archive includes a plethora of global celebrity sofa interviews, with icons such as David Bowie, Ringo Starr, Nelson Mandela, John Travolta, Madonna, Mariah Carey, Cher, Dusty Springfield, and many more, offering candid conversations with TV-AM’s familiar presenters.
LOLA is repping the TV-AM content in partnership with the British Film Institute (BFI) where the archive is now housed. “We are extremely pleased to appoint LOLA Clips as our sales representative of the collection in North America,” said John Carino, BFI Archive Sales Operations Manager. “LOLA’s impressive reach in the territory will undoubtedly showcase the collection to a wider audience and aligns with our goal of becoming the most open moving image archive in the world.”
