German press agency dpa will take over the curating of Facebook News for Meta from April 1st in Germany.
As part of this offer, selected content from German media houses will be published on the platform.
Under the umbrella of dpa-Infocom, Managing Director Frank Rumpf and Editor-in-Chief Christian Röwekamp are putting together a team of experienced journalists who will only be responsible for curating Facebook News and will not be involved in other editorial processes. dpa ensures that Facebook News users are provided with up-to-date information from the German media around the clock, every day of the year.
