Great to hear the trustees of the Estates of Dame Laura Knight, DBE RA RWS and Harold Knight, RA have appointed PAN listed photo library Bridgeman to administer and license copyright.
• Dame Laura Knight is rightly recognised as one of the most successful and historically significant English painters of all time. She enjoyed a hugely successful career which paved the way for greater recognition and celebration of the talent of fellow female artists. She also found great interest and inspiration in marginalised communities.
• Harold Knight was an English landscape, portrait and genre painter, who also had a distinguished and successful career. He was elected a member of the Royal Academy the year after his wife.
