We have covered the German photo trade association BVPA PICTAday event a few times on PAN but this year is an important one as it’s the first real industry event of 2022 and the first since the Coronavirus took away our freedom for a couple of years.
On April 28th, the BVPA welcomed image professionals to deck 10 of Kaispeicher B in Hamburg’s HafenCity. Photo editors from publishers, advertising agencies, TV and corporate PR’s were there to meet the 40 exhibiting photo libraries and agencies. Photos were looked at, ideas were shared …and everyone enjoyed a buffet and drinks.
Exhibitors IMAGO enjoyed the day – their CEO Markus Kohl told PAN: “We had a really productive day at this year’s PICTAday. We truly enjoyed seeing our existing network again and meeting with prospective clients at our first physical event back since the pandemic. It was a pleasure to see everyone we know from the industry and introduce not only our new branding, but our advanced content offering, thank you to BVPA for organizing another great event.”
