Photo library owner supports photo stories with online showcase site ‘Photography Chronicle’

Here’s a well presented resource for picture desks and photo editors looking for fresh photo talent and great photo projects. The owner of Loop Images photo library in the UK, Paul Mortlock, has put together a website to support and show photographer portfolios. It’s called Photography Chronicle – take a look.

Photography Chronicle is a curated, online platform dedicated to showcasing long-form photo essays, personal work, and passion projects from photographers around the world. The site covers a range of genres including documentary, portraiture, street, and fine art photography.

Paul told PAN over the weekend: “What began as a personal outlet is becoming something more communal Photography Chronicle is starting to get serious attention—not just from photographers, but from editors, curators, and others who commission work. Visits are steadily increasing, and that tells me there’s a real appetite for slower, more meaningful photography.”

Entirely free to access and to feature on, Photography Chronicle offers photographers the chance to present their work in depth—with space for thoughtful narrative, creative process, and personal context that’s often overlooked in fast-scrolling media.
