A UK book publisher is hoping to trace the estate of Peter Strausfeld, who designed many post war, British Cinema posters of note. We need to clear a Westminster Press flyer for the cinema version of T S Eliot’s Murder in the Cathedral. Westminster Press are defunct and the BFI has no contact details for his estate.
Another UK publisher needs an exterior image of Fanling Lodge in Hong Kong. Fanling Lodge is located in the Kam Tsin area of the New Territories. It is situated in a wooded lot within the grounds of Hong Kong Golf Club, Kwu Tung. It was the holiday residence of former Governors prior to independence. We would like a photograph of it during Chris Patten’s stint as governor from 1992-1997. Doesn’t have to be exact, sometime in the 90’s would be fine. Something along the lines of the attached, both of which are from the South China Morning Post website but they have no information on the rights holders.
