The judges for The UK Picture Editors’ Guild Awards, led by former Sunday Times Picture Editor Ray Wells, deliberated for many hours to decide which of the images in 11 categories stood out in this exceptional group. The winners will be announced at the awards event in London on 17 October 2022.

The public voting is open for this award. Once registered you can vote for the one photograph you believe is the best of the year. The UK Picture Editors’ Guild will choose a name at random from those who voted and will receive 2 tickets to New York courtesy of Norse Atlantic Airways.
