Tom Allbeson (Reader in Media & Photographic History, Cardiff University) has contacted our Press Photo History Project as he is researching the history of the British photo-magazine Picture Post (1938-57).
Although Cardiff University archive has the papers of both Tom Hopkinson (editor from 1940 to 1950) and Bert Hardy (leading photographer for the magazine from 1940 to 1957), he has been unable to establish biographical details for a number of photojournalists who published in the magazine.
