Tom Tramborg joins tech start up Sasha to help track unauthorised image sharing

Tom Tramborg will be keeping an eye on your image rights

PAN reader Tom Tramborg, ex-Mega Agency, Getty Images and All Over Press, has been appointed Global Director for Media and Publishing at Danish tech startup company Sasha.

• PAN note:  Sasha has developed a world-patented Digital DNA technology that enables proof of original image ownership
and tracks unauthorised sharing — even when images have been manipulated or screenshotted. The company has been
named one of Europe’s most innovative startups by The Europas Top 100 and recently won a World Summit Award in the
Inclusion & Empowerment category.

In his new role, Tom will lead Sasha’s efforts across media companies, publishers, and image agencies worldwide bridging the gap between advanced technology and the people and businesses that need it most.

Tom told PAN this morning: ‘”I have spent my entire career understanding the value of visual content and the rights that come with it. Sasha solves a problem the media industry and photographers have been calling for decades: control over their own images. This is a technology I wish had existed when I was leading major image agencies.”

All the best Tom – I am sure we will be hearing more from you soon – Cheers!
