Getty Images has been named official photo partner to Twitter, with the platform using Getty Images as its premier content provider for editorial and commercial purposes.
The partnership kicked off during the World Cup this month and was activated at Twitter Beach at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, with Twitter populating its feeds with Getty Images’ premium imagery from the global sporting event. From the World Cup Getty were making images available from pitch-side to customers in 59 seconds.
