For the sixth consecutive year, photo agency IMAGO will sponsor the Premios Panenka Best Photograph of the Year Award 2025, which is dedicated to the celebration of football culture.
IMAGO invites football fans, readers, and photography enthusiasts to take part and support the photographers who brought the defining moments of the year to life.
This year’s shortlist features eleven exceptional photographs from IMAGO photographers and partners. The selected photographers include Ludek Perina of CTK Photo, Marc Niemeyer of kolbert-press, Oscar J. Barroso of Zuma Press Wire, Sergio Ruiz of Pressinphoto, Conor Molloy of Pro Sports Images, Vegard Grott of Bildbyran, Oryk Haist, Moritz Müller, Ondrej Hajek of CTK Photo, Joris Verwijst of Orange Pictures, and Matias Baglietto of NurPhoto.
