Photo agency IMAGO will be partnering the World Sports Photography Awards for 2023. Launched in 2019 this is the fourth edition of the awards which already looks to be a great celebration of sports photography.
WSPA told PAN: ‘The World Sports Photography Awards team is looking forward to working with Sophie Romeiß, Maria Camila Diaz Salas and everyone at IMAGO, and pleased that Andrés Benedicto, Director of International Partnership & Sports Content at IMAGO, will be joining our judging panel.’ Andrés told PAN, “We are delighted to join forces with the WSPA on this partnership that will take us to discover the best imagery and professionals in the sports photography industry in 2023. IMAGO is not just a company, but a team led by a solid principle: “Big achievements are never carried out alone”. We are looking forward to sharing our philosophy to this year’s edition and to team up together to make a positive and long-lasting impact in the industry”.
PAN caught up with World Sports Photography Awards Director Simon Burton this week who said of the partnership, “We are delighted to be working with IMAGO to help spread the word about World Sports Photography Awards around the world.”
