On the public vote UKPEG says: ‘We are also joined by IMAGO the leading independent photo agency in Germany and the largest independent producer of sports content in Europe. To increase awareness of our awards and the work done by press photographers and picture editors we are offering the public the chance to vote from the shortlisted images to choose the IMAGO PHOTOGRAPH OF THE YEAR.’ The photographer who took the IMAGO PHOTOGRAPH OF THE YEAR will win £500.
Members of the public must register to enable them to vote and a lucky few members of the public who take part in the public vote will be invited to the Guilds glamorous awards held at the Honourable Artillery Company HQ in London.’
*‘We also have a change to the Essay award, The Guild believes that there must be recognition of the many great images that were taken while the country was ravaged by Coronavirus. To accommodate these images we have changed the Essay to accommodate images taken in the ‘Missing Years’
