Canon UK – trusted world-leading innovator and provider of imaging and information technology solutions – has joined forces with The UK Picture Editors’ Guild Awards in association with Shutterstock as sponsors of the Sports category.
The category to be known as the Canon Sports Photographer of the Year will have a five hundred pounds prize.
Jakki Moores of Canon UK said ‘’We are delighted to be part of these awards they are the high water mark for photography and go from strength to strength”.
The entry will be for five pictures to show the sports photographer’s competencies in this demanding field.
All entries will be judged by a panel of picture editors who have decades of experience in press photography.
