Lenny Hanson, a conservator at Getty Images’ Hulton Archive facility in East London passed away while on holiday a year ago. He was 60 years old. I wanted to mark Lenny’s contribution to the press photo industry here on my Press Photo History project so I asked Matt Butson at the Hulton Getty archive for a few words on Lenny to remember him on the first anniversary of his death he sent me this
I knew Lenny when he was a dark room technician at Kings College Hospital. We both had a love of photography which meant they we got on. I have fond memories of Lenny and was saddened to hear of his passing
