News in from Herbie who has been away cycling for good again:
“My latest charity marathon (now seven summers running) was for Herefordshire Wildlife Rescue. 333.5 miles in 23 days. We raised over £1925. Here we are at the finish line, with founder Dr Sasha Norris and Willow her resident Barn Owl. Willow tutors and socialises rescued orphan Owls in ‘owl-speak’ to prepare them for release. Gobsmacking, rather like bringing-up young Fleet Street snappers, teaching them to behave.”
