Well, now they can …In 2013, the world-famous Rijksmuseum took the unusual step of offering digital downloads of its collection free of charge. In its next move to embrace digitisation, the Rijksmuseum announced that it’s partnering with Adobe Stock and Dimension CC to launch a free collection of 3D digital models, based off of 28 physical objects from the Rijksmuseum collection. …They say: By offering these assets for free on Adobe Stock, the partnership allows designers and artists to utilise and seek inspiration from real-world objects that would otherwise be inaccessible.’
