Tourist Board seeks authentic images and footage for domestic and international marketing uses

This is a paid-for request on PAN

VisitBritain/ VisitEngland run a series of brand trawl sessions where 000’s of assets are reviewed, scored and selected by teams. Assets are then approved and licensed for our brand image library for on-going marketing uses. Uses are not determined ahead of selection. All assets submitted must already be cleared for commercial uses.  Editorial assets must not be submitted. Uses may include:- boosted social posts, online, digital media, print or events.

Submissions as attachments by email will not be accepted.

Deadline for submissions is noon 17/12/20

We are looking to licence RF (or RM imagery) and footage and have priority gaps to include:-

  • Seasonal footage and stills (winter and spring as a priority)
  • Family (pre empty-nester families, intergenerational families and families with pets)
  • Family bubbles
  • Diversity and Accessibility
  • Mask use at indoor attractions
  • Social distancing (COVID friendly activities)
  • Walking and cycling (countryside, cities and coastal areas)
  • Gardens featuring people (especially family)
  • Spa treatments
  • Luxury shopping
  • Afternoon tea
  • Unique experiences
  • High-quality restaurants and cosy pubs
  • Cultural attractions

Specific experiences we require

• Destinations and experience ideas we’d like to see more of:

Composition 

  • Image(s) must land Britain instantly with a wow factor that can inspire an international audience (preferably with people and clearly be a real, undoctored location)
  • Image(s) must have clarity/strong colour; no social filters overlaid. Colours should be vibrant but must feel realistic.
  • Images must not be too cluttered to allow for overlaying branding elements (logo, copy, etc.)
  • There should be no logos or brand names visible
  • Landscape, horizontal, panoramic
  • Must be available as high resolution for print purposes.
