This gem of an inside-tour at the newly moved photographic and newspaper archives of NewsUK, publisher of The Times (first published 1785), Sunday Times and The Sun newspapers, presents a great overview of the content they have and how well they are looking after this record of time – I know many PAN readers will enjoy this!
PAN reader Michael-John Jennings at the Archives sent us the film above telling us: “As you know we have relocated – safely moved now after a mammoth project, in all 25 thousand boxes of archive content and 11 thousands newspaper bound volumes relocated”.
Now based in Essex the new facility was celebrated earlier this month with an open day event for News UK staff and, PAN has been told, will be open for invited visitors soon. …see you there ‘soon’ then MJ!
