Barcroft teams Snapchat for “Frontline Heroes” show

UK based Barcroft Studios has produced a new unscripted Snap Original series called Frontline Heroes with the social media platform Snapchat.

Self-shot by protagonists to comply with social distancing guidelines, each episode of Frontline Heroes tells the deeply impactful story of a key worker who is risking their life by going to work in order to keep their community safe. 

The fast-turnaround series uses a unique production approach. Whether the protagonists are working on the front line in a frantic trauma ward, or providing vital support services in a laundrette, each story is self-shot using body-mounted, hand-held and rigged cameras, as well as video diaries to give a visceral POV-feel.
